Quick Tip: Massages

For those stressful days, get a massage at a stress free price!

Reflexology offers full body massages for $20-$30 dollars for 60-90 min.

Of course at that price, you won't have the ambiance of a Spa. However, you will be able to release some of the tension in your muscles and rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit.

My favorite in the Bay Area is Relax Feet in the Sunset on Taravel. They don't have a website, but I'd you Yelp them-you can find all there locations. They just opened one in the mission.

Now the REDcard saves you 5% on top of our already low prices on every Target shopping trip, every day

3) Reward programs

Reward programs give you something for purchasing.  Below are a few reward programs that I've joined and benefited.

Safeway GAS:

Safeway gas is already marked down, but just by using my Safeway card to buy groceries, I received 20 cents off per gallon for gas. I paid $3.97 per gallon for gas the other night. That's a steal-since gas prices are nearly $4.50 right now.
http://www.safeway.com/IFL/Grocery/RewardPoints-FAQ

It's easy to earn Reward Points* just by shopping at Safeway with your Club Card:
• Every $1 spent on groceries* = 1 point
• Every $1 spent on qualifying gift cards* = 2 points
• Every prescription filled** = 50 points
How do Reward Points* save money on gas?

Every 100 points gets you one 10¢ per gallon reward for a single fill-up at a Safeway gas station. You can use your points in increments of 100 and use up to 1000 points for a single fill-up:
• 100 points = 10¢ per gallon reward
• 200 points = 20¢ per gallon reward
• 500 points = 50¢ per gallon reward
• 1000 points = $1 per gallon reward

Boudin Bakery:

I am a native San Franciscan, so I love the sourdough. I get a free 1lb. every month.

The Boudin Frequent Buyer card is a rewards program designed to show our appreciation for our loyal guests. Have your card swiped each time you make a purchase and for every dollar spent you will be awarded one (1) reward point. For every 50 points accumulated you will receive $5 off toward your next purchase. Plus, register your card online and get a free 1 lb. loaf of sourdough bread every month for a year.

Godiva:

One truffle will cost you around $2.25. Because of the rewards, I purchase one and get one free. That means I only paid around $1.12 per truffle. Now that's half off.

Dine About San Francisco's Finest Restaurants

If you ever wanted to try out San Francisco's finest restaurants on a budget, dine about is the time to do it.

San Francisco's dine about town gives you a chance to enjoy a pre-fixed lunch or dinner course. A two course pre-fixed lunch will cost you $17.95 or a three course dinner for $34.95 before tax and tip per person.

I really enjoy Dine about Town because it gives me a chance to try new places at a great price. In fact, I'm going to try the Bisou French Bistro this time around.

The launch party is on January 12th, 2012 @ 6pm. I plan to go for $40 bucks. Drinks and food with a nice view at the Metreon.

    Check out their site.
